April 1 begins mandatory composting with possible fines for non-compliance.  No Joke.

What to Compost in the Brown Bins

ALL leaf and yard waste, including flowers and Christmas trees

ALL food scraps, including meat, bones, shells, and dairy

Prepared and cooked foods

Greasy uncoated paper plates and pizza boxes

Products certified or labeled compostable.

DO NOT compost trash such as wrappers, pet waste, medical waste, diapers, foam, personal, or hygiene products.

DO NOT compost metal glass, plastic, cartonsclean paper, or cardboard.

Do not let unknown people into the buildings

For the second time, at about 8:00 P.M. the night of Saturday, March 8th, 2025, there was a group of teenage boys running loudly on the stairs and the roof of 120 Boerum Place.  They engaged in dangerous behavior on the roof in addition to disturbing neighbors there.  They do not live here, so they probably rang intercom buttons until someone let them in.

Residents of 120 Boerum Pl. and 15 Bergen St., DO NOT “buzz in”  anyone unless you are expecting them.  Call the police should you see any dangerous activity happening on the roof.

Correction of Board Minutes

The incorrect Units were mentioned in one of the items/. The correction is below:

At one time, Units 1N and 1M removed the original metal fence that separated their courtyards. They have been informed that they must reinstate the fence as it was before its removal before selling either Unit. The current situation is being investigated.
