The boiler company has confirmed that the boiler is working well and has recommended a consultation with a plumber. We have scheduled a visit for today. The likely explanation for the feeble heat is that there is air in the system which needs to be removed and replaced with additional water.
CPR Restoration Will Return On Friday
Because of the snow storm, CPR Restoration had to cancel the continuation of the clean up from the sprinkler system leak. They will return on Friday to visit the affected residential units.
Update: Broken Sprinkler Pipe
The broken pipe in the sprinkler system at 120 Boerum Pl. has been fixed, the system has been turned back on, and it is no longer leaking. However, residual water in the stairs, walls, and hallways likely will continue to drip. A professional cleaning/drying crew will be on site this evening. We will keep everyone posted with additional information as we have it. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Update: Broken Sprinkler Pipe On Roof (Boerum Place Stairwell)
The flood source is a break in the sprinkler system piping, where the test valve is, on the roof. The sprinkler system has to be turned off. Repair service is on the way. Residents in lines A, B, C, N, and M, in 120 Boerum Place, may have been affected.
Domestic water has been turned back on.
Emergency water turn-off
Due to an as yet undiscovered water leak source, the Condo.’s water has been shut off. There is heavy flooding in 120 Boerum Place.
Sad News
It is the Board’s sad duty to inform the Skytrack community of the passing on December 26th of long-time managing agent and friend of Skytrack, Elia Malara. Our condolences are extended to his widow, Kathleen, and to the rest of his family and friends.
Heating System Repair
As most of you realize, the heating system is not operating at it’s maximum capacity. Our boiler maintenance company has checked it out and found that a critical part must be replaced. Unfortunately, that part will not be available until Tuesday. Until then, we will have to limp along in the present capacity. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Water Shut-Off, Fri. Oct. 17, 10AM to 1PM
In order to make repairs to Unit 1F, the water will be shut off from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Friday, October 17.

Reminder re Propane Tank Removal
Final reminder — 20 Lb. propane tanks must be removed from the premises by tomorrow, Nov. 10. Any fines assessed by the city after this time will be borne by responsible Unit owners only. More information in post linked below. Thank you for your cooperation!
