Update – No water on Monday 3/18
UPDATE — the pipe repair currently under way ended up requiring all of the Condo water to be shut off. The cold water should be back on by 12:30 PM. The hot water will be back later in the afternoon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Chance of sewer back-ups on Friday
During the torrential rains expected tomorrow (Friday), you are requested to avoid using dishwashers, washing machines. baths and, ideally, to refrain from flushing the toilet until the rain is heavy but not as heavy as an inch per hour. Our roofs, courtyards, and window wells carry a lot of rainwater into our system. Our basement apartments tend to flood when the city’s sewer mains are overwhelmed by rainwater from the catch basins. The less water we elect to send into the system at such times, the better.
Emergency Water Shut Off (updated – water back on)
Due to a leak on the 3rd floor the building water has been shut off. The issue is currently being investigated and we will provide an update as soon as possible.
120 Boerum Pl., only New Mailboxes are now being used By USPS
The old ones will be removed.
Update – 120 Boerum Pl. Mailbox change
Though we were informed that the Post Office would begin using the new mailboxes in the main lobby on Thursday August 23, it appears that was only the date USPS could begin to use the new mailboxes. As you are aware, so far mail has continued to be delivered to the temporary location at the Dean Street entrance. However, please be aware that USPS may make the switch any day.
120 Boerum Pl. Lobby Update
We thank everyone for their patience. The lobby is nearly finished. There are 3 stairs left to tile and the brass railings need to go in. There was a delay in all of the brass arriving which is holding up the opening of the lobby. We anticipate completion next week. Val will be distributing mailbox keys in the coming days so we have an easy transition.
Attention 134 Boerum Residents
The Scraping and Painting of the Fire Escape on the Bergen St. side of the building is scheduled to start on Monday, Aug. 6. Please close and lock your windows during the day, while the work is being done.
Heating System has been drained.
Upon notifying the Super and/or the Managing agent of the specific date of the work, all owners who wish to have work done on their baseboard heating units may now do so. The Super will be on hand during the start of the work. Be aware that there will probably still be some water in the system in various locations.
